Nice photo, the size and power of the falls never ceases to amaze me!

Great blog by the way, I always enjoy looking at your nature pics. I live in London, ON and have never actually been to Rondeau. I always pass it by on my way to Pelee, but I think I'm gonna have to check it out this summer.

I had planned on going tomorrow when I was up in buffalo for my dentist appointment! I was very sad to hear no one all weekend long saw the bird! Looking at my emails, wasn't found today also! I do love your ice from the falls!

I hope you do luis, it is a great birding spot and the people are friendly.

I haven't heard anything for the last 3 days Tom, it's not looking good.

I was tempted to go on Saturday for the Ross's Gull, but glad I didn't. One is going to show up at Erieau soon anyway!! (shorter drive).

Speaking of rare seabird sightings.. I swear the other day I saw a pair of Dovekies near the bridge to the US in Sarnia. My girlfriend actually pointed them out and said "look, those birds look like puffins!" when I looked and saw two flying just above the water surface.

I checked my field guides and I can't see what else they could have been. I did read that they've been reported as "accidentals" in Ontario before, so I guess it's not that crazy.
