The kept on feeding and just ignored the bird watchers.
This marsh was all phragmities last. year. A removal experiment was started in the fall and so far wildlife has been returning. Egrets, GBH, Shovelers, osprey and now dunlin are being seen where there was nothing before.

Unusual for us, we seldom see an orchard. Lots of Baltimores.
Last night we had orchard and baltimore orioles on the feeder along with red bellied and red headed woodpeckers and a few male goldfinchres for good measure. The colour bouquet was amazing.

Migration is in full swing. There have been 22 warbler species in the park along with various shore birds, gulls and terns, sparrows, oriloes and much more
If you live near Rondeau this would be a good weekend to visit.
